Shadows of vengeance
He bowed in thanks before continuing. The temple's ground floor was a tangled mess of corridors and chambers. Frescoes lined the walls depicting scenes from ancient texts such as the saint's communion with the god of death and the sacking of Mahara. She sighed as she slowly followed him looking around. A strange feeling atarted to fulfill her, it was one she could not explain, but it slowed her down

One of the bronze masked priests, presumably the same one to whom they had spoken earlier, nodded in recognition as they left, to which Shinya bowed slightly and made his way out onto the streets again.
"I imagine you all must be hungry." Shinya remarked with a smile. "There must be an inn or restaurant around here somewhere."

"What can I get you?" The man asked, wiping sweat from his brow with a handkercheif.
"Just some soup and a glass of water for me." Shinya smiled and the man scribbled down the order on a small tablet.
"And the rest of you?"
