Abby gulped looking down. She hated high places. Conzen, however, was not moved by the altitude. He continued climbing without any worries.

She climbed behind them. Her foot slipped but she quickly regathered her hold and continued to climb like nothing happened

Hashin climbed up the mountain with apparent ease, his 'inner vision' helping to guide his feet, while his inner powers gave his body an endless supply of strength. His body was tired however, and some of his mucles became overexerted. He pushed on, coming to the top of the rise, over looking a broken and dark rocky land. Armies marched about between the cracks and within the valley-like recesses between mountain or stone. Smoke rose, fires stormed, and workers poured into factory houses. For miles and miles this land extended, all the way to the mountains of the north, before which sat the city of Neseldin.

"You are close." The voice whispered seductively in Shabel's ear. "Just a little farther..."

she eventually made it to the top. She was very sore from the climb and her breath was heavy. She looked around at the valleys sighing slightly. This is indeed the furthest she had evern been

Hashin turned to Jaylen. "I don't suppose you could lead us down the deadly crevices and unseen by the enemy?" he said. "But then, I suppose you've never been on this side of the rise."

Conzen reached the top showing little effort. Many of the personalities that he was made of were fairly limber. He turned to Abby who was panting. She'd just gotten up. With one look at her though you could guess that she just ran a marathon.

She gave a small sigh and gently shook her head "Im afraid i wont be of any help in that area, this is indeed the furthest from home I have ever been" she said with a touch of sadness in her tone.

A thickmist began to roll over the ground around them. An unnatural atmosphere permeated the air as the wisps of white vapour swirled around the group's feet.

For no reason at all, Abby looked to Conzen. As the smoke appeared, the look on his face changed from cool to raving. Within a second, however, the look disappeared again.

"Do you smell something?" Conzen asked the group in a raw voice. It sounded like a mix of his own and Alice Trousse's.[/i]
