Scarlet Drakes

[Mr_D]

"Thank you" Kain uttered with a nod as he took the items, his voice barely a whisper.

[Xyster]

The drake stared at him for a moment, "It is warmer by the fires, even the small ones." He pointed at several smaller fires appart from the main camp where only a few people huddled, keeping mostly to themselves.

[Mr_D]

"No. Thank you, I'm alright." Kain said.

[Xyster]

Quirking an eyebrow, the man shrugged, "If you have any needs, please speak to any of the others dressed similarly to me. They will assist as much as possible given our resources."

[Mr_D]

"I shall." Kain said, his breath rising up in clouds as he spoke, despite the vivid red scarf wrapped around his neck and lower face.

[Xyster]

With a shrug the drake moved away, leaving the man to his own ends. They had picked up strange people along the way, this man seemed no stranger than some. At least he seemed to keep to himself and not bother the others.

Kain began to eat the soup, carefully spooning the hot liquid from the bowl.

Lothorian glanced up as the guards approached again. They eyed Iadan suspiciously for a moment, then looked to Lothorian again. He stared at them with steady eyes, "There is no threat here, no reason to be alarmed. All is as it should be."

The guards shook their heads slightly and looked away, returning to their casual posts.

Kain rested the large bundle he had been carrying against his shoulder. He would have to leave these people before long lest he pose a danger to them.

[Magus]

"I'm fine." She shrugged. She'd stashed the cloak he had given her earlier in her bag. No need on risking damage to what would pay her way into a new life in a new city. She needed every copper and half-copper she could get to scrape by on.

"You have a power in your voice, I have noticed it. You seem to find such displeasure in my company... why not simply have me be gone and bother you no more? I know you could, and doubtless have considered it."

[Xyster]

"I have no power like that...I can only influence in certain ways." He shrugged slightly, "I doubt that I could influence whatever motives you have to be near me. I am only able to make the truth more truthful in the eyes of teh bearer."

[Magus]

"And what truth would you make evident to me?"
