She removed the bandages from her hands forgetting that she was supposed to be wounded.

Kain headed off in the other direction, sparing a quick glance at refugees. Uttering a quiet prayer for their safety he continued slowly on his way.

[Princess of Fire]

Unnoticed by the others, a dove landed gently on Sora's shoulder. She cooed to it softly asking it about the weather of the place they would soon be going.

[Magus]

Iadan spied that bird and violently swatted at it, shouting, "Go away! Gods, these damned pests are everywhere!"

[Princess of Fire]

"I try to see it from their point of view." Sora stated in a tone that hinted anger. "After all, we could be the pests to them. How would you fell if they tryed to swat you?"

[Magus]

"I doubt that they'll put up much of a fight." She said inordinately. "They're only stupid birds, after all."

[Princess of Fire]

"For your information, birds are very intelligent animals. Why, in some countries, they can even speak like you or me. Any fool can see their cunning... And besides, they have more power than you think."

[Magus]

"Does this include the power to squawk nonsensically for hours on end? I must say, very impressive." She answered with a sardonic sneer. "What I wouldn't give for those skills and powers."

[Mr_D]

Kain listened briefly as he passed the duo. A small bird flitted down, landing softly on his shoulder. He stopped and lifted his arm and the small avian hopped on, perching on his index finger.

[Magus]

"I tell you." Iadan complained, "Those damned things are everywhere."

[Mr_D]

The small bird cocked it's head quizzically at Kain before a large black rook soared down, flapping it's large, wings. Kain watched as the smaller bird darted off hurriedly into the sky in the face of the intimidating black animal. The rook let out a cry like a shrill, mocking laugh as it perched on Kain's shoulder.

"What do you have against birds anyway?!" Sora demanded of Iadan."They have done nothing wrong."
