APPLESEED

This is a great movie with a story reminiscent of Ghost in the Shell but more straightforward with it's message, better animation and (IMO) better action.

Have you ever read the manga of Appleseed, coz it is damn good! In fact, it's probably on one of the best-drawn mangas ever, along with Evangelion and .Hack.

one day I was in the comic book store, much to every ones surprise I'm sure, I was looking at comics(da da da dummm) when this really short fat guy with greasy shoulder length hair and a few teeth missing waddled over to me in his Dungeonmaster tee shirt that he probably wore every day (this is the unmistakable and international look of the true comic expert) and said
"you gonna bye that?"
"I don't know I said" trying not to make a face because he had bad breath. but realizing that he was a authority on all things comic I made the mistake of saying what do you think.
well to make a very long story short

Appleseed is very good.
the life story of its author Masamune Shirow followed.
the price was also very good because these were the eclipse issues...well i bought them because i liked the pictures.

Appleseed is good well worth reading, but unfortunately not finished.
