literature, there is metaphor and symbolism in literature. so we will declare that you writing that you are snuggling a non existent cat is litterateur and there for contains symbolism and metaphor.
the cat is obviously a metaphor for tiner, for cats are often attributed female features and tiner is a female.
the symbolism of you snuggling a non existent cat is that you are trying to get a hold of a love you do not have yet.

Ah yes, but when asked who he was hugging, Magus responded with "My cat, because she's non existent."
The location of the coma in the sentance may give us further clues.
Yes, yes, most definately a woman there.
because she's non existent
Could it be that the reason Magus finds solice in an imaginary cat is that because she IS imaginary. Ethereal. Unable to hurt him like a cat of flesh and claws might do? Has Magus been hurt before. Is Magus afraid of asking Tiner out because he fears getting hurt? It's the nonexistance of the cat that so entralls him.
Oh look! Flying buttresses
[Q wanders off.]

Oh, yes, the word cat as well as other terms for the feline species are often used when speaking of the female species. I liked the way that you worded that, who me. Nicely done!
*aldan happens to glance at the sky*

*aldan runs off in the direction in which they're flying...*

who me wrote: you afraid of girls?
That was... wow, so harsh...
Posted: Fri Aug 12, 2005 9:02 am
I do know that some girls can be rather frightening... looking... acting... due to their lack of self-control... whatever... and since we men in modern America can't look cross-eyed at a woman for fear that we'll be sued for all our future earnings, I could see why he might be... nervous. But heck, he's not even out of school yet!

First of all, no. I couldn't as we both have marching band all day. There's simply no time for her TO come over. But, fear not, tomorrow is the sixteenth. Also I saw that she posted yesterday somehow.

*gasps* They know my secret...
Actually Magus, me mum was going back to school and so in order to do her homework, she had to connect the Internet herself. I am happy she did, though, for yesterday, i was greatly amused by squirrels that seemed to have vanished today.
