Ok i think that this is one of the best anime movies that there is. So this is just an open disscussion on it. :)

Which version of it are you speaking of? I've got the original series, but have yet to finish watching it. I got lucky enough to find the whole series used, strangely in two parts in two different places. I found about half the DVDs in one location and the other ones at a different place. However, it wasn't like 1-5 here and 6-10 there, though. It was more like 1,2,5,7,10 in one place and 3,4,6,8,9 there. Of course that's just an approximation, since I didn't write it down when I found them. I've watched the first three discs so far, but I've been slow in getting back into the DVD watching. Too much on my plate. So far, it's been pretty good over all.

Alas, for never have I watched this. Nor, I think, does Blockbuster carry it. They might, and I might look into this when I get the chance.

That would be the movie version. IMO It wasn't bad but it felt rushed. The art design was fantastic though, with the organic mecha designs. Personally I preferred the TV version.

I don't have the movie, just the series on DVD, but my computer's sound when using the DVD ROM drive on my compy (the only way I can watch movies on DVD right now) is getting all sorts of weird feedback spikes and stuff. It makes enjoying any DVD next to impossible. I've tried cleaning the head. No go. I've checked the connections. Nada. I dunno what needs doing... but until I get it figured out, I can't watch any of my DVDs, be they my newly purchased ones like Appleseed or Kung Fu Hustle, or any of the ones I've had for awhile and still not watched (like Underworld or AI)... rather frustrating.
