But yeah, I agree, like everything theres a whole lotta chaff before you find the wheat.

However, it's such a broad medium that as long as you're open minded you can find something to your tastes.

It helps in certain aspects because it you completely lacked the knowledge of other writing styles then it would take a lot longer to improve on your's. Mainly because if you have nothing to compare it to then it is perfect, right?

Sort of like it is with little kids' artwork. They see the art in it, they see the story, they see the fullness and depth. It doesn't matter that it's not Michelangelo... since they've probably never seen any of his work, and if they did, they wouldn't recognize it as Art.
