New challenges?

I was wondering if there would be anymore writing challenges. I haven't posted in the in the past but I do find them really useful. I am often a little starved for ideas but want to practice writing when I'm not inspired. These help so much. I would offer one myself but I've got the whole 'no inspiration' thing going on at the moment.

At this time there aren't any plans for future Writing Challenges. Unfortunately, the low participation rate made them prohibitive.

Yes, we had a number of them last year.

A monthly picture and title were provided and SV members could write a story, poem, or song that somehow incorporated the monthly challenge image, title, or both.

Because of the low participation, it was decided to discontinue the challenges. However, if you're interested in the creativity that our members came up with, you can read all of their challenge works in this forum.

The last Writer's Challenge had zero participation, so I haven't done another.

If someone else would like to take over the Challenges, feel free to do so.
