I never was on the forums before, by the way. I was only visible in the interactive story. (Jared)

[Edit] Egad!!! After going through the story outline I noticed it was even longer ago. I must have been 15 at the time or so. Back when I used the handle CassiusG. Thank ... something, for growing up![/edit]

Manji is the name of the immortal samurai in Blade of the Immortal. I lurked for two years before I registered. The day I registered I'd bought the first book in the series, Blood of a Thousand, and it really made me want to write something equally violent, disturbing, interesting, and dream-like. I thought it was only fitting that something that had an influence over my writing from the very first page should be my handle on this site.
I guess it should be 'Mark' if I was to allude to the movie that first inspired my creative interests.
