Yo, y'all!
Guess what? I'm back! After a very, very long time away from y'all, I'm really back. And as I look around at the forum now, I must say, I've missed y'all very very much. Even my bloody bouts on conspiracies and politics with Fannuilh. Though I hope to keep those to a minimum. She's way too good at debating for me. I'm getting tired of having my butt handed to me on a platter.
I'd rather have the butt of some cute mokkorichan handed to me. *Looks around at SV's female members and drools a bit* 
Well, what can I say? I've been away for a long time. I've grown as a person, and (I hope) as a writer. I've done a lot of roleplaying since I left y'all, and also some writing. In fact, I even finished a fantasy novel. Nothing fancy, but I can at least honestly say I've written a book. It feels good to have done that. I guess I've come full circle now that I've returned here.
So! How, do you all ask (not really, but anyway), have I spent my years away from y'all?
Well, y'all know I studied archaeology for a while. Specifically so for eight months. But, it was the start of something for me, that is now coming to a closure. Call it a realization if you will. In Januari 2009, I left the archaeology program, because I felt it was time for me to move on. I learned good stuff, grew as a person and made [s]great[/s] incredible friends. And then I moved on, because my nomadic spirit told me to do that. Next thing I knew, I studied Japanese and web design in another university in mainland Sweden, in fall 2009. It went fairly well until Finals came. I won't bore you with the gorey details, but it wasn't pretty.
So, what now this year, you ask? Well! The Guv refused to give me money (my own fault for botching my grades), which, I actually see as a very good thing, because, it helped me come to a realization about what to do with my life. In short, I'll be applying for peacekeeping duty to Afghanistan next fall with the Swedish military. Yup. Your dear, perverted, irresponsible and paranoid Lox is returning to the military. Whether or not they'll have me is another question entirely, but I think I'll manage. Until then, however, I spend my days looking for work, building up my physique again, and on my free time trying to learn [s]French[/s] Spanish and playing guitar.
And after Afghanistan? Well, let's just say I've got something very important to me, to do in Springfield, Missouri, when I get out of the military.
Well, regardless of all that, I'm glad to be back. I've missed y'all, very much so.
I missed you so much!!!!!!!! I'm still not thrilled about your going into the military. You know I worry about those kinds of things. Still, I support you in whatever you do. I am so happy to see you. And...looks like we have a new love interest?
