You really should get out more often. :? I'm a social butterfly, I'll land in almost anyones garden in here. Of course my time is limited and sometimes it's a mad dash to get caught up posting, but that's o.k.

I know what you mean, Ariel.

Man, every time I type your name I think of the race of winged elves from D&D, Areal, (ah-ree-ehl) instead of more like the Little Mermaid (air-ee-el).

I pronounce it like your winged elves Magus, Not the little mermaid version. What are the winged elves like? That's funny, I've been wanting to create a winged elf for a character.

Magus, aren't those elves the Arvoreals (I'm unsure of the spelling - it could be Arvorials).

Ahhh... I see. Ariel's, from BGII, pronunciation made it sound that way, plus they never had the written dialogue for when she said it. But oh well.

Soo... Ariel, huh? Not Ariel.

I'll have to keep that in mind.

In Neverwinter Nights they have in the second expansion (Hordes of the Underdark) a town of Arvoreal Elves that somehow had their town and all the residents thereof get teleported together (with the buildings) to the Underdark.

Ooooo, that's really got to suck.

Ariel is an Arvoreal without wings. Ironic, eh? She was sold into slavery in a circus and the cramped cage she was forced into petrified her wings, which had to later be amputated.
