Well, pim, one reason that I feel it's a good idea to need to write (or type) it is that the time that it takes to do that gives you more time to really think about what you're putting on the paper, and so may help you in your own personal pre-editing of your work. The truly great writers rarely, if ever, simply wrote something that was of such quality that it was kept exactly as first written. Often, they edited as they wrote their first drafts and then would read what they wrote and adjust it again. Many would do this themselves a few different times before giving it to someone else to read, and then would take their suggestions in hand and would consider adjusting their work again. On and on it would go....

To be honest, Gary, I don't remember the last time I stopped into a brick-and-mortar Barnes & Noble. I tend to do my in-store book shopping at Borders, and my on-line book shopping through Barnes & Noble. And that's only when I can't find what I'm looking for in a used book store.

Yeah, I'm a terrible creature of habit.

Yep, there's something of the Hobbit in me, that's for sure.

There are no Barnes and Noble stores in NZ anywhere as far as I know.

I am not into buying books at the moment, I am actually slowly selling about half of my collection. So far I have sold 28 books this year to used book stores.

Hey everyone!! Long time.

FYI, my books are selling really well at Barnes and Noble! They're on the shelves everywhere and the reorders have been coming in swiftly. I've been told that the newest one in the series, Revenge of the Elves, is doing particularly well.

Thought you'd all like to know.
