Curtains move in time to the breeze
Dripping water sets the tone
Crashing waves give voice to seas
As through the trees the winds moan
Light reflects on broken windshield
Feral cat gives voice to rage
Rusting tractor in the cornfield
Library book with ripped-up page
Broken bottle rolls along
Singing out its lonely song

I was going to post on this a while back but my computer screwed up. (stupid dial up) A poem that I can relate to. I liked it all including the lonely back ground, I myself am afraid of being alone all my life but am able to handle it pretty well. I loved the poem and all the images you gave along the stanzas.
Keep up the good work Aldan.

I am the poet of the body and I am the poet of the Soul. The pleasures of heaven are with me and the pains of hell are with me. The first I graft and increase upon myself, the latter I translate into a new tongue.

Well, Tal, I'm not very physically artistically talented, so I decided some time ago that I'd keep working at coming up with ways to paint with words. I'm not always happy with the quality of them, though this one worked well and maintained the image I was striving to put across.
In some ways, it's good that I only have access to the computer for a short period of time daily, because that way I won't waste it, and will instead strive to work on my poetry (most of my poems are ones that I can come up with in the time I have available). Stories are something I've been trying to come up with so that I can post them, but I've not had any luck with my story muse. She must not be amused about something I've done, but of course she seems to not want to tell me.... *sigh*
