Like "Gladiator" this looks like a gritty movie. Opens mid May.

Re: Robin Hood
Predictable? I'd predict Robin dies by the hand of a treacherous woman in his later years. But that's how the legends end. From what I've seen and read, this Robin is nothing like the legends/folk tales, where Robin took from the rich (usually tax collectors) and gave back to the poor, while treating his "victims" to a friendly feast in Sherwood Forrest, and all the while playfully outwitting the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Glad you enjoyed it, Golden Night.

Re: Robin Hood
Not to give to much away, but the movie starts before Robin gets into all that taking from the rich to give to the poor. It is about how He became Robin Hood, that is by the end of the movie he is Robin Hood. And in one part he does take. Thus you know where he will be at the end. And towards the end, I predicted what the king would do in the end.
It is a different take on the story than other movies and TV series, I have seen
That of course means they can make more movies where he takes from the rich and gives to the poor.. and eventually end with a movie where he is killed, or they could end the series with have him being victorious...

Re: Robin Hood
Director Ridley Scott gives the timeless Robin Hood legend a gritty "reboot," and the result is a very strong and lavish period epic with great performances and the perfect blend of drama and sword-slashing spectacle. Completely underrated.
