X-Men 3
Beast and I believe Gambit (name only) were in X-2
someone mentioned they wanted Beast and Gambit to show up in x-3 and said that Colossus, Shadowcat and Jubilee showed up a bit in X-2. Well there was a talk show on TV in one of the scenes and the guy talking was Hank (Beast) although he wasn't blue yet. And I thought I saw Gambit's name (Remy something) on the database that mystique was going through to get the plans for cerebro 2. I personally am not a gambit fan, he wasn't introduced untill the 90's so he's low in my list of characters I wanna see. Beast was however one of the original Xmen from the late 60s so he is a much higher priority for me.

I saw that also DM. People didn't know why me and some other people were laughing or cheering in the end when it was supposed to be sad. I can't believe they are going to try to tackle that story line. Hope it goes well.

I think that if there is a three...which they left the second one opened to much not to have a third one... that they should have gambit in it and if they don't do it just right then it will be shot down quick. I hope it's good.

It will be a HUGE job. I too am an Xmen fan from the early 80s.
I've never been a huge jubilee fan. colossus, yes, nightcrawler, absolutely, gambit, sorta but not really, beast, hugely, shadowcat i'm not really familiar with. i think i read one comic w/ shadowcat in it...

Nightcrawler, Gambit, and wolverine is my three favorite characters from any of the comics, series, shows, and movies.

can't wait can't wait cant wait!!! accordig to Wikipedia.org, Kelsey Grammer will play Beast, but Gambit has been dropped from the plot. Shadowcat has a supportig role (YAY! better than the 2 secods she had in the other movies) there's a chunk of an early screeplay at http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=20443 (i haven't read it yet and i don't think i will, but it's there if you want it. SPOILERS GALORE

cool voice? I keep forgetting about those cartoons. It was strange hearing how they interpreted different voices that I imagined over the years. Has anyone seen that pilot xmen cartoon from the late 80s where they made Wolverine Australian? It had a horrible song with lyrics too. I think they went in a better direction once it became a series. I should post the lyrics, I'm sure many would groan.
so, changing directors is bad news, but leaving Gambit out is good news. Oh welly, it's just a movie, I just hope that it has the same feel as the previous two

My buddy gave me crash course in X-men lore before seeing the second movie... so if someone could help me clear up a few details, that would be great.
