Happy 40th Star Trek

Postby The Master » Sat Sep 09, 2006 12:22 am

Today (September 8th) marks the 40th anniversary of Star Trek!

Gene Roddenberry's contribution to SciFi and to pop culture is undeniable. Nearly everyone has seen at least one episode of some ST show, or one of the movies. Star Trek has endured the test of time gracefully, and I for one am proud to call myself a fan.

Happy Birthday Star Trek!

40 years! How about that!

TOS runs every afternoon here. Yesterday was the Tribble episode, so I watched. I've read comments about cardboard sets and poor acting, but I enjoyed the fun, and I was never distracted by the sets. My favorite scene: Kirk under the bin and the tribbles popping him on the head as he talked. LOL!
