Dear Ariel
If you like castles Scotland is the place to go - there are hundrids. In Edinburgh, the capital city, the whole place is loomed over by Edinburgh castle in the same way New York is dominated by the Empire State Building or the sky line in general. In my hometown of Arbroath there is a ruined abbey where the decleration of independence was signed by Robert the Bruce (basically what is described at the end of Braveheart) - in my new city, Dundee there is a wee one tucked away - they are everywhere and great fun to visit - especially if you goto smaller town with castles - St Andrews is also near to where I live and has a huge castle etc etc
Hope this helps

They claim it is but it is the most unspooky place - it is quite regal and majestic - St Andrew castle is a weird place at night and so is the abbey in my hometown as it has a massive and very old graveyard
Vivacia, will let you know if my launch goes ahead, hehe - if you're interested check out my online novella "The Half Broken Crown" - parts one and two are out now and are pretty indicative of my writing style - or the other short story, "Prophets of the shadow" - a prequel to my novel
