I did put "contact" information under the "author" menu. Haven't any of you looked beyond the first "saga" menu? I'm worried not other people haven't seen it, but it's there and.... I wouldn't know how to place it better.
The book cover and the back cover are shown in the "saga" menu under "saga".
I even have the link to my forum with the contact information. Check it again and let me know if it was that hard to find.
I thought about putting a signed book copy through the website, then I forgot... (Thanks for reminding me!) I also thought of putting it on ebay, maybe it would attract some attention there... What do you people think?
POD demands a lot of work, but for those of us ready to bust their butts off to make it, it's definitely an option. As you've said, it's a sad reality that there are books of shelf that any of us could write at least 10 X better.

Our lives are forged by the fires in which we were made. But even in the softest fires we can forge ourselves in the image we want, we just have to work harder at it.

Your Own Boss
If you publish through a P.O.D. house, then you probably should be prepared to do much of your promotion online. Unless you plan on selling all your own copies personally, your customers will have to be computer-savvy enough to find and order your book on the publisher’s website. So why not reach these people within the medium they’re already working in?
There are promotional services that will provide you – and your book – with web presence for a fee. Personally I’ve found this route to be a waste of money, even if the business is legitimate. There just aren’t a large number of people surfing the web looking for sites where they can learn of new books by unknown authors.
Writing short stories and/or articles for e-zines is a better way to begin. Your promotional efforts and your creative outlet become one and the same. Publication gives you a credit on your resume and makes you look more professional to an agent or editor (if you’re pursuing that ambition). Also, many sites will post bios of the authors who’re appearing in their current issue – or else they’ll allow you to include a by-line at the end of your piece where you can mention your book and website, if you have one. People who’re impressed by the story you published will have a ready link to more material that you’ve written and the means to order you book.

Dear Phonix et al
I am both a writer and publisher myself - having just set up my own publishing company I fully intend to utilize POD publishing and agree that it is frustrating that the technology has become such a laughing stock!
Well, as writer and publisher i first intend to publish my own book but I am also planning on releasing an anthology science fiction and fantasy books in the next few months. Please, as you all seem to be writers, if you are interested in submitting a short story for the published collection please check out the website. Goodluck with your books
