Tom Siddell's Gunnerkrigg Court
Re: Tom Siddell's Gunnerkrigg Court
Did she know she was going to die, or was she simply worried and the death came as a surprise to her? to them? From the statement that they did nothing- I still can't figure out if they knew or didn't know that she was in mortal danger.

Coyote...the Vorlon of the forest.
I'm thinking that she didn't know she was going die/be murdered. I'm assuming the device was suppose to kill her, yet bind her spirit to the river. Her comments to Diego..."I don't want to go to the Annon Waters. I don't know what will happen there" leads me to believe that she didn't know about that part of the plan, but there's really not a lot of evidence one way or the other.
I'm curious who the "traitor" was that Diego spoke of that Jeanne still loved and who the identity of the man who found the plan abhorrent and left the room was.
More questions, hopefully Coyote can give us some answers...wait, what am I saying...Coyote give us a straight answer?!?!? We'd do better asking a Vorlon.

Finally! Some closure!
New Chapter is up and it's...THAT GIRL!
Ok, I think we all figured out who she is and what she's doing down by the water, but it'll be interesting to see how Annie handles it and what happens at the Court afterwards.

[spoil]I wonder why the body is lying like that- if she did it herself or it was arranged by someone.[/spoil]
I also wonder what Annie has in mind.

I'm wondering what the green arrow actually did. I always assumed that it had hit Jeanne, not her forest lover. How does killing him bind her to the Annon waters?

I had trouble accessing GC earlier but can get in now. I thought that it was Elf guy who was shot. Then Jeanne saw the love of her live die, and chose not to continue living?

Re: Tom Siddell's Gunnerkrigg Court
It was Jeanne's lover who got shot. However, up until this Chapter I'd always thought the arrow device Steadman shot had struck Jeanne.
An interesting thought. That it's Jeanne's love that keeps her at the river, but I think there's more to the arrow than we think. Jeanne doesn't seem the sort that would kill herself out of grief. Even as fitting as such an Shakespearian element would be to GC.

Something is definitely wrong with Antimony in this Chapter. Her facial expressions in today's update are not normal for her. It looks like she's taking actual enjoyment out of hurting Reynardine.
She's shown fits of anger before, but nothing along the lines of this.

I felt the same thing. I wondered if the encounter with Jean messed with her, or if it is a reaction to Rey's needling her about her father, or just teenage reaction. Rey also caught her copying homework, so she was doubly mad at him.

Re: Tom Siddell's Gunnerkrigg Court
It seems over the top for even an angry teen and especially for Antimony. Her facial expressions look as if she's enjoying tormenting Renard and her actions seen to prolong the agony for him. I keep looking for some sign that it's not Antimony at all. Scanning the images for a tell-tale sin that it's Coyote or someone else, but I don't see anything.
Somehow being infected by Jeanne is an intriguing thought. The theme of unrequited love that Diego had for Jeanne is similar to the love Renard had for Surma.

Looks like Antimony is going to get some truth thrown back in her face.

Re: Tom Siddell's Gunnerkrigg Court
I agree that her behavior seems over the top. We've never seen her so out of control nasty before. I notice that she isn't wearing her usual eye makeup, and her facial appearance is unusual for her, but this could be because her behavior is also unusual. I wonder about Rey's reaction when she said he meant to kill her- is this disbelief that anyone would think such a thing?
