No easy way to say this, but someone took Bruno out of the "puppy pen" yesterday, and apparently he got run over by a bicycle. I've lost track of how many times I've told everyone that he was too young and small to run around, but I guess that just went in one ear and out the other. I was bummed out last night. Today, I'm just p!$$ed.

That's horrible, I can't appreciate that... Is he okay??? :O I just want to appologise for such a terrible thing happening to the puppy and your family. You could get a new one for the kids, that'll cheer them up... I've seen it on movies anyway...

No new puppy for the kids until they understand that when I said Bruno needed to be in his pen, in the house, or on a leash, I meant it, and meant it for a reason. Well, maybe now they know, but I'm still too honked off to even think about getting a new puppy.

Every evening Bruno would stick his little nose under the bottom of my door and start yipping, and I'd let him in and he and Binkie would take turns chasing each other before I put him back out so I could get some sleep. Last night, Binkie was sitting at the door. This morning, he was sleeping at the door.

There were several kids riding bikes at the time, and when the puppy got ran over, they scattered.and nobody knows who was the one that ran him over. Typical "I didn't see anything" mentality.
