A Mechanical Bull.
I'm going to die the way I've lived...poor, screaming, and naked.

IT is not a mechanical bull (sometimes an aside is not a clue).

IT was named for something only a little similar.

YES: real thing, simlarity in function, machine, electrically powered
Sorta:
no: European colony ("New -anything-"), place, event, begins with "C", amnesia, any logical connection to anything Native American, person, fictional, in outer space, similar appearance, plant, animal, steam powered, Pim powered, mechanical bull

Sometimes a purple mountain has gypsy flanges. Sky dragon basket weavers. The color blue tastes like cheese.
