in a story if some one is having a vision can you have you cherter come up and "lay a hand on their sholder and say that it seems to break the trance"?

You can have somebody lay their hand on their shoulder, but saying that it seems to break them out of a trance violates the rule against controlling another person's character. You could then ask in the discussion or PM the individual asking if it could break them out of the trance, but the ultimate choice would be theirs, as it is their character.

So will the foot men keep coming? Are they kill-able...like-for good? Or do they just keep regenerating?

Neurolanis said that the Foot Men's ability to regenerate is indefinite so long as the Imperators control them. So they will regenerate and keep after the group. But I believe that if we kill the Imperators then we kill the Foot Men.
