This poem was one that I wrote suddenly, thinking on the difficulties that Anthentar is having as he prepares for his final year of what we call "High School" to end and for his "real life" of responsibilities to begin. I understand these insecurities, for I felt them likewise, as have most that have passed through that period of the "Senior Year" of High School, when one is thinking of what he/she shall do for the rest of his life, and how to go about accomplishing that goal.
'Tis always wise to plan ahead
For tales of sorrow do follow
Yet in the making of the plans
Dreamers dream while pigs wallow
So wilt thou bathe in murky mud
Or send thy mind from earth to sky
For though the swine in comfort rest
The Dreamers send their hopes on high
And in their minds and hearts they sing
For their desires' true fulfill
And as they strive and work to solve
Their futures shine and bring a thrill
Now Anthentar get up for now
And bring thee forth thy applique
For if they shun your noble cause
E'en so you shall win out the day
To Plan

Neuro, I'm chuckling with a red face...
Ariel, was it your oldest cat that wasn't healthy? If so, work to feel happy for it. I know you'll miss the poor thing, but it is now not having to endure the pains and difficulties of health problems or old age, and since cats are only relatively smart, often I believe that being sick must confuse them, since they don't know why they are miserable, only that they are and they can do nothing about it. I hope that it died in its sleep, so as to pass out of this dream state into the dreams of sleep and on into the heavenly dreams...

Sorry to be late to the party. I just never really got around to reading this before now. I liked it quite well. Your poetic style never ceases to impress me. You're extraordinarily gifted at poetry. This isn't your traditional view of the world as it is today, but certainly it's an accurate portrayal of what some people go through. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep it up!
