"They are a curious thing, these emotions. How they fly in the face of logic, how they overrule the most basic instincts. Because, in the measure of time, in the measure of humanity, we sense those self-indulgent instincts to be a weakness, we sense that the needs of the community must outweight the desires of the one. Only when we admit to our failures and recognize our weaknesses can we rise above them. Together." -Drizzt Do'Urden

My little brother loved Gundam SD... but then again he was 9 at the time. The only part that bugged me was, besides the weird chibi robots, the 3-D. Anime was just not meant to be in 3-D.
Actually, in response to the "best fight scene" thing, I actually enjoy swordfights more than lasers and robots killing each other. As a result I loved the Rurouni Kenshin series (most people do). I also like it in fight scenes where the cameras switch around really fast and give you that "what the hell's going on" feeling... Adrenaline in my tummy, heehee...

I loved most of the fight scenes from Rurouni Kenshin... make that all of them. I also loved Yu Yu Hakusho and Gundam Wing Fight Scenes. Some fo the 08th MS Team scenes were really good as were some of the Inuyasha ones. But Inuyasha really jumped the shark when all he had to do was swing his sword to kill whoever he was fighting.
But I would agree that Rurouni Kenshin is by far the best of all when it comes to fight scenes... at least as far as I've seen.

I would say that Kenshin has the best sword fights, by far.
For regular fights I would say probably Cowboy Bebob, But i havn't been watching Anime long so.
Hey, my brother found a Hellsing DVD at Wal-mart for like eight bucks or something like that.

Well, if he picked it up, then good. If not, it may be gone by now. As for fight scenes, the matrix-y final fight scene in Cowboy Bebop was great. Really had a tragic feel to it.

I never really seemed to care much for Cowboy Bebop for some reason. I love sci-fi westerns. I watch Firefly religiously and even Outlaw Star in its heyday. I'm not quite sure why I never got into Cowboy Bebop.
