I disagree, Oblivion is better then Morrowind for the simple fact that it is longer and more in depth. Plus the improvements you just mentioned make it funner to play.

I find it equally addictive. I like the new a minuscule amount more, but that is enough.
I can't wait for the first set of mods
:D

Strange, but all the evidence suggests Morrowind is longer. Morrowind has a total of 382 quests, Oblivion has 192 quests. A quest in Morrowind is roughly the same length as a quest in Oblivion. In terms of depth, Morrowind has far more - look at the lore in the game on the Dwemer for example, compared to that of the Ayleids.

Those improvements are nice - but ultimately they don't compensate for the other problems incorporated - the lack of content (for a TES game, which means still having about 5 times as much for any other game), loot/enemy scaling, certain "handholding" features, the atmosphere and a couple of other things. I can see why you might prefer Oblivion though, b

@Ranryu - do you mean official or unofficial? Either way, they're out. The official ones look like a complete rip-off to me - charging you for content that was already in the game but removed at the last minute, or at least the content in them looks very basic to say the least. Some of the unofficial mods out so far (of which there are already nearly 2000!) look decent. Most are focused on gameplay rather than content at the moment though.

I've got Oblivion, haven't really played much since I need to get a better graphics card. >.> I think I spent at least 2 hours working on my character's face and I still wasn't happy with how it looked.

 Really? At the end of the day I am usually level 4, have 3 million gold, stats maxed, daedric and ebony armor, and usually umbra. Really got to love cheating. Actually its really hard to get 3 million gold in a day, do you have any idea how many ordinators you have to kill to be able to trade for that much? Not to mention you have to find all the right spells to be able to increase your stats.

Morrowind is a great game. :D

Mine used to be less then that but now it is probably six mainly because I am hooked on Neverwinter Nights and God of War which I have about beat.

Neverwinter Nights is great, but has alot of work to be done on it. As for God of War, AWESOME....i beat it and i wished the game wasn't over yet....alot of enemies and things to do if you take your time.
