I know this is a bit late but anyway...

Woa there, you've got quite a big collection Anime-Trekker, your namke also reflects that. I've got hardly anything compared to some of you.

There's many that I have yet to watch, but I will soon so I'll list them anyways.

First of all, I'm surprised that none of you listed Full-Metal Alchemist!!!! This is one of the best Anime's I'd ever seen, the best in plot in fact. I advise all you Anime fans, get it and watch it NOW! Add it to your collection.

Full-Metal Alchemist
Samurai Champloo (awesome as well)
Fruits Basket
Trigun (haven't seen yet)
Cowboy Bebop
Tsubasa Chronichle
X
Inuyasha
Wolf's Rain
Samurai X (haven't seen yet)
Full-metal Panic
One Piece
Planitess
Scrapped Princess

... and a few more, I forgot their names, will come back and edit this post and add them when I find out again.

I don't know if I can compare to Anime Trekker either, but I'll give some insight into my collection.

I have, among others sorry, am away from home so I am reciting from memory and obviously forgetting some of my collection :

The entire series of Yu Yu Hakusho
The entire series of Full Metal Panic disappointed a bit by ending
The entire series of Full Metal Panic Fumoffu?
The entire series of X + X the movie + Tokyo Babylon disappointed by voice of Subaru
The entire series of .hack//sign
The entire series of Betterman
The entire series of Trigun
The entires series of King of Bandit Jing to my knowledge
Robotech - The Masters Complete Collection + New Generation Complete Collection
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - All of Season 1 + Vol 1 -4 of Season 2 + original movie
Big O - all of season and Big O II Vol 1 - 2 [i/ found the ending pretentious and contrived [/i]
The entire series of Gundam Wing + Stardust Memories
Inuyasha Seasons 2, 3, and part of 4 + the 3 movies released
Full metal Alchemist Vol 1 - 9 shout out to you, Darukin
Case Closed Box Sets 3,4 and first 3 volumes of Box 1 amazing show, great characters, originally named Detective Conan
Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok Vol 1 -5 love Norse mythology and am glad creators acknowledge the bastardization, but still fun to watch

For the smaller collections:

Nightwalker: Midnight Detective
Saiyuki the Motion Picture: Requiem kudos to you, Anime Trekker. I really like this show
Armitage III: Poly-Matrix
Armitage III: Dual-Matrix
Memories
R.O.D. - Read or Die
Cowboy Bebop the movie
Princess Mononoke
Ravemaster Vol 1 -3
Star Ocean Vol 1 -4 eh, loved the game

*these are all officially owned... these are the ones I can remember. Sometimes, I just stand around in stores for hours looking for something to buy.

*Also, I don't own any manga.

Not only do I have this, but I have the entire Saiyuki series, Saiyuki Reload, and in the middle of collecting Saiyuki Reload Gunlock.

The reason Geneon got the rights to Saiyuki Reload and Saiyuki Reload Gunlock, instead of ADV films:

In the Actors Commentary for Saiyuki The Motion Picture, David Matranga (the voice of Sanzo in the ADV films dub of Saiyuki) revealed that he had moved to New York to be a stage actor. ADV Films is a Houston, Texas based company.

Yeah, I saw those new boxsets the other day. They look much better than the previous ones imo. And god dammit, I should have waited for the new RX boxset to be released. ><

That anime collection looks pretty similar to my own Anime Trekker though I have yet to see Saiyuki and X. =/ My manga collection is not quite as big since I'm picky with the series that I collect and I still need to get past Vol 1 or 2 on a lot of them. Hehe. :P I recently started on Ranma 1/2 though, man that series is hilarious and I'm amazed at how fast I get through each graphic novel!

Bandai is re-releasing a bunch of their anime as part of the "Anime Legends" series of sets. The .hack DVDs that I mentioned earlier are actually the .hack//SIGN "Anime Legends" set that I ordered months ago on Amazon.com and won't be out until August. It costs about $37.99, which is way better than the $149.99 price for the original box set.

I also bought the Argentosoma box set (6 DVDs) for $60.00 at Slackers Used Games and Cd's

You can discuss Rahxephon with me over here

In .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet, is it just me or does Balmung sound like he was attracted to Rena (Shuugo's Twin Sister)

Yeah, I did get that impression... though Rena was the one who blushed when she was saved by Balmung from the Armor General in the first episode. From playing .hack//quarantine, you get the impression that Balmung has trouble being honest with women (via emails in the Mailer), so perhaps he's unable to express himself well.

Also, I didn't really care for .hack//Legend as much as .hack//sign because it seemed so much more puerile. .hack//sign is very dark, allows for player killing, and even explores such things as what it means to experience death (Tsukasa in Vol. 3). In .hack//Legend, the characters that are "killed" are just suspended in a sort of purgatory, and the addition of the Silver Knight toward the end didn't seem to do it for me...
