For the kids & you.

While at my children's end of year school assembly the Library teacher got up and spoke, recommending several books for the kiddies to read over the holiday break. Among them one got special mention, Kate DiCamillo - The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. She said it was one of the best children's book she had ever come across and that adults could get a lot from it also.
After the assembly I went to the school library & borrowed the book for the holidays to check it out. Now let me tell you, she wasn't wrong. This book is fabulous. I read it first then my wife read to our little one, then my elder daughters both read it. We all loved it.
So if you're looking for a special present for someone young please consider this book. You won't be sorry.

Ok, well don't be put off, but it's about a conceited toy china doll rabbit and how it learned about love. I know it sounds odd, but just trust me, this story is magnificent. I also forgot to mention that it's beautifully illustrated.
