Was it evident in my story that Rez and Sakina knew each other on Earth and had a relationship there?

That was a great excerpt, Bmat. It made me want to hear more about the Wormals. I missed the subtleness of the tie in with the cell phones though.

BK as always, outstanding. I still think you should try to get published.

Thank you, Q.

I enjoyed your story and BK's also, very much. Nicely done.

To answer your question, the further we get into the story the more obvious it is. Some of the things he says indicate that there was a precious association of some kind. Whether it was a relationship, I'm not sure, but it would be a possibility.

Thanks guys! I enjoyed both of yours too.

Bmat: Is Wormal going to be a multipost story? Curious to see what the Wormals are up to.

Q: "Was it evident in my story that Rez and Sakina knew each other on Earth and had a relationship there?"

Yes. Nice lead in to a much larger story. It is going to be a much larger story...?

Thanks for the kind words.

I had planned the story to be longer. A full on short story, but because I'm busy in RL, I shortened it to get it done before the end of the month.

I want to thank Chaeronia, Boikat, and Bmat for participating in January's Writers Challenge!

The new challenge for February is up and can be found here.

For the month of February, we're expanding the challenge to include not only stories, but poetry and songs. As a result, the minimum word count of 250 words isn't part of the February challenge.

I also want to thank the SV members who helped find pictures and came up with story titles for this month's challenge. If anyone has picture ideas, title ideas, or constructive criticism on the Monthly Challenges, feel free to PM me.

Janna was unhappy and sure that she wanted to leave the village, and yet she found her wish already there. Very touching!

I don't what it is, but I'm drawing a complete blank this month. Usually I get a couple ideas right away, but not this time. I've had a bad case of writers block in general as of late. Though I'm starting to come out of it, I'm still struggling for a story for the challenge this month.

I know I'm a bit late. But thank you very much Bmat. I just say March's Writing challenge and I love it. I promise I will write something for it before the end of the month. :D
