Without warning Vahn sat bolt upright, his eyes shooting to and fro. A second later and he let out a curse, grabbing his side and falling back onto the stretcher as a burst of pain surged through his torso. Though healed, his wounds were still tender. The deep gash on his side began to open slightly, releasing a thin trickle of blood which seeped into his bandages.
"What... What the hell is going on here?" He spoke weakly, apparently lucid but still somewhat dazed.

The woman cocked her head to the side at the man howling in pain. She looked to the others. Perhaps, she thought, they did not speek Drow.
"What are you, group?" she tried. When she got no respons, she tried for a different approch. "You people, what are you and what are you doing this far into the wood?"
