I believe this is a fairly new anime but still good none the less.

The story is set on a alternate earth where men ride giant robots named armors, think Trigun meets Gundam, the main character Van is looking for the murdered of his wife. His only clue is that the man had a claw for a right hand. So far I have only seen eight episodes but I am hooked.

I would recommend this series to anyone.
