USI is based 400 years after the Next Generation era, in a time when the Federation has turned corrupt. The Borg have been nearly extinct by a new threat: the Darkarians. USI is made up of 8 ships and one space station, and continuing to grow. Anyone is welcome to join this free form RPG.

The USS Aries is an email based role playing game in which you take on the role of a Starfleet officer fighting on the front lines of the Borg frontier.

The Dominion War ended two years ago, and now is in ruin. Starfleet has rebuilt but the continued threat from the unknown members of the Dominion and the lure of the unexplored regions of the Gamma Quadrant has meant that Starfleet has need of vessels to enter this Quadrant and continue to seek out new life and new civilizations, to make first contact and continued contact with the residents there and to keep a watchful eye on the once powerful Dominion. The USS Destiny NCC-14047 is a Nebula-class Starship who, with her sister vessels, based at Starbase Gamma One have been assigned the ominous task of conducting these extended missions in the Gamma Quadrant on the other side of the Bajoran wormhole.
