Didn't that win a Pulitzer, Bmat? I know it won something, but I forget what it was exactly, and we just lent it to my grandparents so I can't sneak a peak to find out.

Yeah, Who Me, I agree. That seems to be the most practical use for them. That and not wanting to pay attention in some class/job.

Yes, I`ve bought e-books, and I`ve been given e-books because I am also a reviewer.
I don`t mind reading off the computer, but I have to admit, anything over 60,000 words is an eyeball killer. LOL
I do prefer an actual book, because I like to read in bed; however, I will still continue to read e-books as well.

Nothing beats a good ole Book, ebooks are alright if that's your thing but I will always prefer a real book to a ebook, I agree with Magus and what he said as well as others. ^_^

I just now got into e-books. amazon kindle for pc is a lot better than just downloading an e-book, I lost one of my e-books because my hard drive crashed. with amazon kindle for pc library I was able download my e-books onto my new hard drive.
oh I do have a book shelf of books I re-read.

I would never have thought it, but I love my Kindle. It is my way to read of choice now. I like that I can look up words without grabbing my dictionary, I like that when I am away from home I have a choice of books and also that I don't need to bring a couple books along in case I finish one.
